With a quick stop overnight to rest, I made it to California. Redlands is a great spot to stay awhile. Everything I needed is close and easy to get to, and the traffic is not crazy. The lodge even had a pre 4th concert.
Concert on the back porch. Hot, but still enjoyable.

This is a very nice place to visit, but a heat wave arrived the same day. When the temperature is over 110 my trailer starts to fail to keep thing livable. After research to find some relief from the heat dome I set out for California.

My family and I came to see the Eclipse. They stayed at the Red Door B&B. The weather was forecast to be overcast but was only partly cloudy. We had a great view of the event from the balcony of the Red Door. In all a fantastic time was had by all.
The courthouse burned down a few years ago and has been rebuilt
